Oxygen Mask Adult Reservoir Bag 2.1m Tube - 50 Pack Non-Rebreathing Elongated Shape

Steps:

1. Remove the product from the packaging.
2. Connect oxygen tubing to mask.
3. Connect distal end of tubing to oxygen source.
4. Set oxygen source to prescribed flow rate, ensuring connections are secure. Check for flow through the device and function of the valves. Before placing the mask on the patient, check that oxygen is flowing through the inlet valve between the reservoir bag and the mask.
5. Allow the reservoir bag to fully inflate before placing on the patient.
6. Place the mask over the patient’s nose and mouth with the elastic strap below the ears and around the neck.
7. Secure by gently pulling the ends of the elastic strap.
8. Adjust the nose clip on the nose portion of mask, mold it to fit the face. This precludes leakage of oxygen into the corners of the eyes.
