Voltaren Emulgel is a medicated product that contains a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) in the form of an emulsion gel. The active ingredient, diclofenac, penetrates deeply into the skin to address the source of pain. It works differently from heat or cooling rubs, which include ingredients that stimulate nerves in the skin to create a sensation of warmth or coolness. Instead, Voltaren Emulgel allows the anti-inflammatory diclofenac to reach deep within the skin to relieve pain and diminish inflammation where it's needed.

Voltaren Emulgel can be utilized for relief from body pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with soft tissue injuries, trauma to tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints due to sprains, strains, bruises, and backaches (such as in sports injuries), as well as localized forms of soft tissue rheumatism, including tendonitis and bursitis.

The Voltaren Emulgel formula combines the qualities of a gel and a cream, featuring an appealing scent, ease of application, and rapid absorption, while providing a cooling and soothing effect upon contact with the skin. Warnings:

Do not use Voltaren Emulgel:

• On children under 12 years
• If pregnant or breastfeeding
• If allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, or any other anti-inflammatory medications or pain relievers
• If the tube seal is broken or missing
• Until the enclosed leaflet has been read carefully

Caution:

Ingredients:

• Contains isopropyl alcohol as a preservative. Contains benzoates.

Directions:

Gently rub into the affected area 3 or 4 times daily. Do not use for more than 2 weeks unless directed by a medical professional.
