Flaminal
Flaminal Hydro belongs to a new class of wound care products known as enzyme alginogels®—hydrated alginates with an embedded antibacterial enzyme system.
Three key functions:
- Maintenance of a moist wound healing environment
- Continuous wound debridement
- Antibacterial activity
Flaminal Hydro is indicated for use in:
- Leg and diabetic ulcers
- Pressure sores
- Complex grazes
- 2nd degree burns (both deep and superficial)
- Oncology wounds
- Wounds from dermatosurgery
Flaminal Forte is designed for wounds with moderate to heavy exudate and is typically changed every 1-2 days.
Instructions for Use:
- Clean and rinse the wound as you normally would.
- Dab the area dry carefully.
- Apply a thick layer (approximately 5mm) of Flaminal Forte to the wound in a sterile manner. It’s not necessary for the product to spill over the wound edges.
- Dress the wound based on the amount of exudate, selecting a dressing that does not contain any additional embedded materials.
