Sevoflurane

Sevoflurane is an inhalation anaesthetic agent for use in induction and maintenance of general anesthesia. Administration has been associated with a smooth, rapid loss of consciousness during inhalation induction and a rapid recovery following discontinuation of anesthesia.

Sevoflurane Features:

Sevoflurane is a non-flammable, pleasant smelling, non-explosive and volatile liquid
A halogenated general inhalation anaesthetic drug.
Clear, colourless, stable liquid containing no additives or chemical stabilizers.
Nonpungent. It is miscible with ethanol, ether, chloroform and petroleum benzene, and it is slightly soluble in water.
Stable when stored under normal room lighting conditions according to instructions.
