IntraSite Gel Conformable is an amorphous hydrogel that promotes gentle but effective debridement and desloughing. IntraSite Gel Conformable has unique chemical characteristics unlike any other hydrogel. The patented cross-linked polymer enables the gel to provide balanced rehydration and absorption. Based on the local environment IntraSite Gel Conformable responds appropriately to the level of moisture making it ideal for every stage in the wound healing process. It combines the advantages of the gel with a non-woven dressing to aid the gentle packing of deep, shallow or open undermined wounds ensuring the gel remains in close contact with the entire wound surface.

Indications:

IntraSite Gel Conformable is indicated for use in open wounds e.g. pressure sores, surgical wounds healing by secondary intention and malignant wounds. It is especially useful for the packing of deep cavity wounds to prevent premature closure. It can be used for the management of shallow wounds, excoriated skin and irradiated tissue. 

Contraindications / Precautions:

• Known sensitivity to IntraSite Conformable or any of its ingredients.
• IntraSite Conformable should be used with care in the vicinity of the eye.
• Avoid ingestion.
• Avoid use on cracked nipples.
