Solosite Gel 

Solosite Gel is used for the treatment of minor conditions such as minor burns including sunburn, superficial cuts and lacerations, skin tears, and abrasions.

Solosite Gel is cooling, soothing, and hydrating. It provides a moist environment at the wound surface, which promotes fast wound healing.

Features:

• Non-irritating.
• Easily applied and removed with gentle irrigation.
• Can be used with MELOLIN Low Adherent Absorbent Pads as a secondary absorbent dressing.

Warnings:

• Do not use if there is known sensitivity to Solosite Gel or any of its ingredients.
• Use with caution near the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• For external use only; do not ingest.
• Single patient use only.
• If sensitivity or irritation occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
• If the condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, seek medical advice.
• Do not use if the tube is received open or damaged or if the tamper-evident seal is broken.
• Use within 3 months of opening and before the expiry date.

Ingredients:

Purified Water, Glycerin, Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

Directions:

1. Cleanse the wound with saline or a suitable cleansing solution.
2. Apply Solosite Gel to the affected area (approximately 5mm thick), ensuring the tube opening remains clear from the wound.
3. Cover the wound with a suitably sized film or secured dressing where practical.
4. Replace/close the lid and store in a dry place (<25°C).
5. Reapply Solosite Gel regularly for minor burns including sunburn and daily for other minor wounds to prevent drying out.
6. Remove Solosite Gel by rinsing with clean drinkable water or saline solution.
